Through the years many audio products have come and gone, but some products have become legendary. Such products include McIntosh C-22 preamplifier, Marantz 7C, Marantz 10B turner, Model 9 amplifiers countless others. One such product is the Hartsfield speaker system...the speaker system of immense size was first introduced to the public in 1954. Its production lasted until the early part of 1964. The exact number of speaker systems sold is unknown, but their reputation has become legendary in the audio field.
As a young audiophile I could only dream of someday owning a pair of such fine transducers, however, now these speakers are no longer available. I attempted to find a pair in the used market, but I was shocked to find that most of these had been bought by the overseas market. I was compelled that I would someday own a pair of these speakers, and that is how CLASSIC AUDIO REPRODUCTIONS started.
